Who owns LMD?

LMD is privately held and publishes no shareholder register. Its own site names Eng. Ahmed Sabbour as Chairman, Eng. Amr Sultan as Founder and Chief Executive Officer, and Mr. Hamad Al Abbar as Managing Partner of LMD UAE. Invest-Gate, reporting a 2023 financing agreement, describes Continental Investments as a branch of LMD Sabbour Group and names Amr Sultan as CEO of Continental Investments LMD. The Egyptian parent entity printed by the company itself is Landmark for Real Estate Developments S.A.E. No audited accounts, exchange filing or public register naming the shareholders has been published, so legal ownership is not publicly confirmed and no percentage is stated here.

LMD builds in Dubai through a separate UAE company, Continental Investment Company, founded in 2011. Its Dubai work sits at five addresses and mixes one master-planned community in Dubailand with apartment buildings on three waterfronts.

It holds 274 homes of one, two and three bedrooms, with private pools in selected units, and handover is set for Q2 2027. Arkiplan designed the architecture and the Singapore studio J2 Design the interiors. National Bank of Fujairah is the financing partner and Devmark the exclusive sales partner.

What is Taiyo Residences?

An AED 400 million building at Wasl Gate, unveiled at the International Property Show in April 2025. It holds 379 units from studios to three-bedroom apartments and handover is set for Q1 2028. The design concept is called Designed by Light. Energy Metro Station and Festival Plaza are two to five minutes away, and Ibn Battuta Mall, Dubai Marina and Mall of the Emirates five to ten minutes by car.
